The Inside Sales position sells medical, industrial, specialty gases, welding equipment, and hard goods and tools to customers. This position responds to inquiries or concerns from either walk-in customers or those customers that call in, provides additional warehouse support, and works closely with a team of Account Managers to support customers. Stock inventory and maintain showroom displays. Develop and maintain relationships with customers Provide support for the field sales representative. Operates the cash register. Enters sales data into the computer and researches information for customers using the computer system.

Requirements

High School Diploma or the equivalent
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in customer service and/or sales experience.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft / Google applications
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
Ability to routinely lift 25 – 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.
Lives by Airgas safety programs, OSHA, and all related rules, regulations, procedures which apply to this position’s responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

Two (2) year degree preferred.
Working knowledge of SAP
Forklift Certification or ability to become forklift certified
Knowledge of welding, gases, industrial, safety supply sales preferred.
