About The Position
The mission of this position is to sell automotive service, tires, and tire-related services within commercial centers or retail centers with commercial capabilities. The essential duties include selling inventory on hand, assuring that the highest levels of customer service are met, and using a point of sale system to prepare work orders by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered. The role also involves resolving customer concerns or complaints, following pricing policies to provide satisfactory gross margins, and obtaining customer approval for work authorized. Additionally, the position requires handling daily cash, credit, national account, and fleet transactions, meeting sales goals set by the supervisor, and maintaining a clean shop and customer waiting area. Other responsibilities include cleaning, restocking, and updating store displays, maintaining proper telephone answering techniques, soliciting new accounts, and protecting company assets. The position emphasizes safety and requires regular attendance in accordance with the assigned schedule, as well as the ability to perform physical requirements as listed in the job description.
