The Inside Business Development Consultant (IBDC) is responsible for generating revenue growth through prospecting and identifying opportunities in their territory to increase market share through new customer acquisition. They will be responsible for identifying and closing new business with small independent and franchise dealers. This is a remote opportunity, and the incoming candidate can live and work from anywhere; however, the territory supported will consist of Indiana, Kentucky, a portion of Tennessee, and a portion of Ohio. Candidates must be comfortable calling into this region if they do not already reside there. The ideal candidate will reside in the EST, MST and CST Time Zones. What You’ll Do: As an Inside Business Development Consultant (IBDC), you are the initial point of contact for potential new Autotrader and KBB customers. You will be responsible for cultivating new sales opportunities within assigned territories by aligning with teams of Regional Sales Managers to proactively contact qualified prospects. You will use your communication skills to forge relationships with potential customers, from first contact, until the attendance of an online or onsite demonstration showcasing the value of Autotrader & KBB DMS products.
