About The Position

For more than 15 years, GigaKOM has delivered enterprise-level IT solutions to California K–12 school districts, higher education institutions, state and local agencies, and commercial organizations. Through partnerships with leading manufacturers and distributors, we provide secure, scalable networking and infrastructure solutions across the state. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated Inside Account Manager to support and expand our California client base. This is a fully remote position with flexible engagement options. The Inside Account Manager plays a critical role in driving revenue growth, supporting account management efforts, and maintaining strong day-to-day client relationships. This opportunity is available as full-time, part-time, or contract, making it ideal for experienced technology sales professionals seeking flexibility while contributing to a performance-driven team.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of sales or account management experience
  • Experience in technology sales (networking, infrastructure, IP, data, or related field preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting California SLED or K–12 accounts
  • Familiarity with Cisco, HPE-Aruba, Extreme Networks, or similar enterprise platforms
  • Knowledge of public sector procurement processes

Responsibilities

  • Manage & Grow Assigned Accounts
  • Serve as the primary inside contact for assigned California clients
  • Maintain consistent communication with IT leaders and procurement teams
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Partner with outside Account Executives on territory strategy
  • Drive Revenue & Sales Execution
  • Prepare quotes and proposals aligned with client needs
  • Follow up on active opportunities to move deals toward closure
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting
  • Meet assigned revenue and margin goals
  • Vendor & Pricing Coordination
  • Collaborate with distributors and manufacturers on pricing requests
  • Support RFP responses, bids, and compliance documentation
  • Ensure timely and accurate quote turnaround
  • Operational Excellence
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and account documentation
  • Coordinate order processing and internal communication
  • Support overall client satisfaction and retention
