About The Position

Perform various duties in preparing insert preprints for bulk delivery including
loading preprints into insert machine hopper feeder, loading completed bundles onto skids, preparing inserts for post office delivery and cleaning insert
area. Responsible for providing excellent service to customers within APG facility and to readers, advertisers and the community through their regular job duties and as a member of the AMM team to produce and deliver the best newspaper possible.

Requirements

• No experience required
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds, bend at waist, kneel, squat and stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Feed preprints into insert machine hopper neatly and accurately.
• Monitor insert machine to reduce double inserts and/or skips so that all jackets have correct inserts.
• Remove completed bundles, weighing 10 to 35 pounds and stack or bag accurately for the next step in packaging delivery.
• Perform general clean-up of papers, skids and debris that accumulate during the workday.
• Perform job duties and conduct self in accordance with company policy.
