About The Position

Venture Solutions, a division of Taylor Corporation, is seeking a 3rd Shift Inserter Operator with experience running high-speed inserters such as BlueCrest, Kern, and/or Bell and Howell. This role is based in Arden Hills, Minnesota.

Requirements

Ability to set adjustable mechanisms to required tolerances
Strong math skills and attention to detail
Solid mechanical aptitude
Good reading and comprehension skills
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information so others can understand
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
Constant operation of machinery and handling of print materials
Frequent movement throughout the facility
Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or carry 25 pounds or more

Good color discernment

Responsibilities

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance to ensure optimal output
Prepare inks to achieve proper color and consistency
Verify paper type, size, color, and quantity
Check plates for correct format
Visually inspect forms throughout production runs to ensure quality standards
Coordinate with the Production Team to prioritize jobs and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines
Maintain knowledge of and follow all safety requirements related to the job and equipment
