Requirements

• Education equivalent to a high school diploma and six months of related experience.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions.
• Ability to follow oral instructions.
• Detail oriented.
• Good manual dexterity and the ability to perform manual tasks requiring some fine motor skills.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills.
• Capable of rotating through the insert molding process.

Responsibilities

• Operates and sets-up insert molding machines.
• Identifies molding defects, makes process adjustments and ensures product meets quality standards.
• Operates equipment at or above reasonable expectancy levels.
• Completes paperwork.
• Inspects parts visually and using measuring tools; documents results and ensures compliance to drawings and specifications; performs testing of products, as required.
• Ensures that work areas, machines and equipment are safe, clean and orderly.
• Assists in the training of new Insert Molding Operators, as requested.
• Working overtime may be required for this position.
• Performs other related assembly and processing tasks, as required.
