About The Position

At SierraVista, the mission is to inspire hope and deliver holistic care to individuals facing acute psychiatric conditions and substance use disorders. As an Inpatient Therapist, you will be crucial in supporting patients throughout their treatment and recovery journey. This involves providing therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings, assisting patients in developing essential skills to manage their mental health and substance use challenges.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Current Colorado licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC/LCSW-Candidate) required.
• Strong communication, clinical, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in psychiatric/behavioral health or substance use treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducting assessments to determine treatment needs and developing individualized care plans.
• Facilitating group therapy and psychoeducation sessions.
• Providing one-on-one therapy to support patient progress.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other interdisciplinary staff to ensure comprehensive care.
• Assisting with crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies as needed.
• Documenting patient progress and maintaining compliance with state, federal, and facility standards.
• Supporting discharge planning and aftercare coordination.
