About The Position

Registered Nurse Inpatient Contract Cheyenne River Health Center Eagle Butte, South Dakota Need 8 RNs. One year base with two one year options. Facility Cheyenne River Health Center Indian Health Service facility under the Great Plains Area. Located on the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Reservation. Overview Inpatient Department coverage Scope includes newborn through geriatric patients Occasional coverage across Inpatient, Emergency, and Outpatient units Staff nurse duties when called in Charge duties as assigned On site only

Requirements

• Active RN license. Any US state
• BLS AHA
• ACLS AHA
• PALS AHA
• 12 months inpatient RN experience within last 2 years
• No work or health restrictions
• Cultural competence with Native American patients
• Strong documentation skills
• Compliance with IHS, CMS, and Joint Commission standards
• Report within 45 minutes when called

Responsibilities
