About The Position

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in the State of Texas.
• BLS certification required before hire.
• Completion of Advanced Specialty Courses (ASC) within 1 year and maintenance ongoing.
• National Certification in specialty must be attempted within 3 years of completing orientation.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.

• Performs initial and ongoing focused assessments of patients.
• Develops, implements, and modifies individualized care plans.
• Involves patients and families in healthcare decisions.
• Administers medications and therapeutic treatments per clinical guidelines.
• Selects and utilizes appropriate equipment and supplies based on patient needs.
