About The Position

This position is for an Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Orthopedics at the UW Health Swedish American Hospital located in Rockford, IL. It is a 90% full-time equivalent role, requiring 12-hour shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, with rotating weekends and holidays. The role offers competitive compensation, including potential for a sign-on bonus up to $15,000, shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend work, overtime, and on-call pay. Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
Bi-annual CPR certification.
2 years experience in an Emergency Room setting or Psychiatric Nursing setting (Required for 911 Call Center Triage Only).

Nice To Haves

Community nursing experience (Preferred for 911 Call Center Triage Only).
Specialty certification in area of concentration.
ACLS certification within two years of hire (Preferred for 9th Floor Only).
