About The Position

Description Work Schedule: 100% FTE, 6:30am-3:00pm. You will work at the UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. You may be eligible for up to $15,000 sign on bonus. Required Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required Work Experience Experience assisting in robotic-assisted cardiac and thoracic surgeries. Required 1-2 years of experience in cardiovascular operating room or specialized cardiothoracic surgical environments. Preferred Prior completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program with related experience or successful completion of Scrub RN competency (Internal Northern Illinois Program). Required Licenses & Certifications Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois. Required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Required Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Preferred Specialty certification in area of concentration. Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
Experience assisting in robotic-assisted cardiac and thoracic surgeries.
Prior completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program with related experience or successful completion of Scrub RN competency (Internal Northern Illinois Program).
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Nice To Haves
