This position involves evaluating and treating patients who experience difficulties performing daily tasks due to physical, emotional, cognitive, and/or psychosocial conditions. The role requires providing coordinated and comprehensive patient care, including assessment, setting expected outcomes, implementing rehabilitation interventions, and evaluating progress within an interdisciplinary team. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized treatment programs, documenting all treatments according to departmental policies, submitting accurate charges for services, and overseeing COTAs, students, and volunteers. The Occupational Therapist will also participate in the education and training of staff, students, patients, and family members to ensure appropriate care delivery.
