We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and highly motivated Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Psychiatric care team. Working under the guidance of the Director of Nursing and in compliance with the State Nurse Practice Act, the RN plays a key role in delivering safe, evidence-based care to children and adolescents experiencing acute behavioral health challenges. This role combines direct patient care with leadership in assessment, coordination, delegation, and quality improvement. Blocking and redirecting patient movements against the patient's weight Physical interventions in response to aggressive and self-injurious behavior. Ability to move quickly and confidently to intervene in situations when protective holds and/or movements are deemed necessary. Physically able to perform, but not but not limited to: pivoting, knee squats, shuffling front and backwards, assisting with carrying a person, assisting a person to the floor, stabilizing people in standing, seated, prone and supine positions.
