About The Position
Emerald Coast Behavioral is currently recruiting Inpatient Psychiatrists for their Inpatient programs in Panama City, FL. Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital provides acute psychiatric services in a secure and nurturing environment to ages 12 and older who are in a crisis. With confidentiality and sensitivity, our inpatient programs allow patients to begin treatment in an intensive and secure environment where they are cared for 24 hours a day by our team of compassionate and highly trained professionals. Our inpatient programs provide protection from harm to self or others, medication support and therapy with the goal of stabilizing acute symptoms as quickly as possible, so our patients can continue treatment in a less restrictive outpatient environment. Requirements
- BE/BC in General Psychiatry required. BC preferred.
- Active or eligible for FL medical license
- Commutable distance or candidates that are in FL are preferred.
- Comfort with seeing ages 12 and older is required.
