Our therapists specialize in treating patients with acute neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and multi-system conditions across the acute care continuum. Acute care presents unique challenges as patients are often medically complex, with rapidly changing conditions that require quick clinical decision-making, strong communication skills, and adaptability. Therapists must balance early mobilization with medical stability, navigate discharge planning, and collaborate closely with the medical team to ensure safe, effective, and timely care. You will work side-by-side with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, evidence-based, and patient-centered care that makes a meaningful difference in patients’ recovery and outcomes. Job Description: Position Summary: Under the supervision of the manager and working within their scope of practice as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Physical Therapist I assesses, plans, organizes, and participates in rehabilitative programs that improve or restore physical function, alleviate pain and prevent dysfunction in patients with impairments, functional limitations, disabilities or changes in physical function and health status from injury, disease or other causes.
