About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in physical therapy.
  • Current physical therapy license in state of practice OR eligibility for licensure by examination OR reciprocity from another state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout and between facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations and provide treatment programs to facilitate patient-specific goals.
  • Assess the patient's response to treatment and recommend treatment plan changes as appropriate.
  • Maintain patient records according to documentation standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure treatment protocols contribute to overall hospital quality and safety targets.
  • Adapt behavior to the specific patient population, respecting privacy and communication styles.
  • Remain knowledgeable on current federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory agency requirements.
