About The Position

Under general supervision of the Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacy Leadership Team this position is responsible to ensure the highest compliance with Medication Management regulations, inclusive of CMS, JCAHO, DEA, BOP, USP. Activities of this position also center on direct and indirect patient care, ensure the right drug, right dose, right formulation if prepared and ready to be administered to our patients. Further activities can support inventory, purchasing, 340B, financial pathways, participation in critical problem solving skills, software knowledge and management, demonstrates initiative and in depend workloads, when necessary. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • CPHT.
  • Pharmacy Technician licensure required (or eligibility to obtain licensure within six months of employment).
  • Hospital/institutional experience preferred.
  • One year of relevant healthcare experience required in lieu of licensure at time of hire.
