About The Position
Join Saint Luke's East in Lee's Summit as an Inpatient Pharmacy Tech! FT Days, Evenings and Weekends Day 7am-3:30p; Evening 1:30p-10:00p; Every other weekend commitment of Saturday and Sunday, varying hours but all are 8 hour shifts. MO Pharmacy Technician License required Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required Previous pharmacy technician experience is preferred The Opportunity: Saint Luke’s East Hospital is currently hiring an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician. This position will give you a lot of variety in your work each week. Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist performs all accountabilities associated with compounding, preparing, distributing and charging of medications. Assist in the filling and delivery of medication orders, maintaining automated dispensing cabinet stock, and assist with various duties as assigned. Pick, fill and deliver medication orders and Omnicell stock to appropriate locations Prepack drugs and compound medications including sterile products, chemotherapy, and special dosage forms (topicals, oral liquids, etc.) Assist with maintaining stock supplies in pharmacy department as needed Answer the phone/ front window, and assist with questions and requests Attend all department and technician meetings Why Saint Luke’s? Requirements
- MO Pharmacy Technician License required
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required
- Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year
- Pharmacy Technician (MO) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
Nice To Haves
- Previous pharmacy technician experience is preferred
Responsibilities
