This role is part of our procurement team and will work closely to assure medications and stock are properly received and inventory is rotated based on expiration date. Full-time Mon-Fri 8-hour shifts starting at 5am or 6am No Holidays/No Weekends Job expectations – include the below but not limited to. Additional tasks may be required as needed. Receiving and moving pallets of fluids and supplies utilizing a pallet jack from the delivery dock to our storage locations Restocking of fluids into the pharmacy warehouse including moving individual cases of fluids or pallets utilizing the pallet jack. Restocking the warehouse from overstock supply areas and updating inventory spreadsheets in excel. Retrieve Drop ship deliveries from the dock and receive them into pharmacy stock Works with the procurement team members to backfill receiving role as needed Responsible for monthly outdates of several areas within the department and documenting work has been completed in Pharmacy Stars software. Role Purpose The Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient 3, under the direct supervision a of staff pharmacist and according to standard procedures, provides cross coverage for multiple technician competencies or responsibilities within a focus area. This position serves as a department resource to answer questions and assists in resolving more complex issues. This position's responsibilities may include preparing medication orders, assisting in dispensing and transporting medications, conducting complex sterile and/or non-sterile compounding, inventory management, training, the use of various automated/electronic systems, and maintaining the required documentation & records.
