About The Position
BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time Pharmacy Tech II (CPhT) - Inpatient 2 for our Home Care Infusion Pharmacy (710 S Boyle Ave., St. Louis, MO). This position involves primarily sterile compounding, including hazardous compounding tasks, and does not involve customer service and insurance aspects. The role includes filling prescriptions, working with automated filling machines (Pyxis), updating information in the computer system, assisting with medication inventory, and delivering prescriptions throughout the hospital. The technician will be exposed to advanced forms of medication, including sterile and non-sterile compounding, and may communicate with other healthcare providers such as nurses.
