Part-time- 2-3 shifts per week Variable shift times Every other weekend and Holiday rotation $1,000 Sign -on Bonus Overview Since 1937, Alton Memorial Hospital has cared for residents in Alton, Illinois, and the surrounding communities in a five-county area. Alton Memorial offers patients a variety of inpatient and outpatient services, including surgery services, medical imaging, interventional and diagnostic heart services, cancer care, rehabilitation, 24-hour emergency care, ambulance services and more. Role Purpose The Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient 1, under the direct supervision of a staff pharmacist and according to standard procedures, assists in dispensing and transporting medications. This entry level position learns to conduct non-sterile and/or sterile compounding and is responsible for maintaining the required documentation & records.

Responsibilities

• Maintains quality assurance standards and required documentation; maintains regulatory cleanliness compliance.
• Assists in the preparation of medication orders, to include workflow management, basic preparation & dispensing, and non-sterile compounding.
• Uses automated/electronic systems to manage product preparation, inventory, patient records, and regulatory compliance.
• Supports various inventory activities, to include inventory storage, ordering, rotating, beyond use dating, and cleanliness.
