Our experienced inpatient team at Christian Hospital is looking for detail oriented and patient centered experienced techs to join their team! 7 on 7 off schedule (Thurs-Wed) Alternating shift (12:00pm-10:30pm and 1:30pm-12:00am) $2,000 Sign-On Bonus Overview Christian Hospital has been serving St. Louis and the surrounding metro areas since 1903. Christian Hospital has a progressive pharmacy that offers many professionally challenging opportunities to impact patient care. The pharmacy services both Christian Hospital and Northwest HealthCare. The pharmacy staff oversee cutting edge automation in medication distribution systems. Our pharmacists provide clinical services including participation in patient rounds, nutritional therapy services, screening patients daily for change in renal functions and adjusting the dosage accordingly. The pharmacists work in a team-structured environment with other healthcare professionals 24 hours a day. Role Purpose The Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient 1, under the direct supervision of a staff pharmacist and according to standard procedures, assists in dispensing and transporting medications. This entry level position learns to conduct non-sterile and/or sterile compounding and is responsible for maintaining the required documentation & records.

Responsibilities
- Maintains quality assurance standards and required documentation; maintains regulatory cleanliness compliance.
- Assists in the preparation of medication orders, to include workflow management, basic preparation & dispensing, and non-sterile compounding.
- Uses automated/electronic systems to manage product preparation, inventory, patient records, and regulatory compliance.
- Supports various inventory activities, to include inventory storage, ordering, rotating, beyond use dating, and cleanliness.
