How you’ll make an impact in this role Collaborate with providers to offer clinical recommendations for patient medication therapies. Clinically review, assess, and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness. Oversee pharmacy operations and the medication use process, including order verification, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and dispensing. Provide drug information and education to patients as needed. Maintain a high-reliability culture by critically evaluating medication processes for opportunities, keeping patient safety at the forefront of all decision-making.

Requirements

  • Pharmacist credentialed from the Indiana Board Of Pharmacy obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

Nice To Haves

  • PGY1 residency completion and/or prior hospital experience is strongly preferred
