About The Position

IMS/Inpatient Advanced Practitioner Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for a full-time Inpatient PA/NP to work with multiple physicians at our Piedmont Fayette Hospital, located 30 minutes south of Atlanta. This position will have no call responsibilities and 10 hour - variable shifts. In this role you will: Examine, evaluate, and treat patients with serious medical conditions, illness or injuries. Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations and record data in patient’s medical record. Evaluate and treat patients to achieve optimal patient care. Write progress notes; prepare patient work-ups and summaries noting pertinent positive and negative findings. Develop plans of care that minimize complications and successfully troubleshoot problems when they arise. Apply preventative and alternative treatment strategies for possible procedural complications.

Requirements

  • Masters, Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification or Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
  • Master’s degree or a bachelor’s degree; graduate of certified Physician's Assistant program.
  • Licensure as a Physician’s Assistant by the National Board of Medical Examiners or the American Academy of Physician’s Assistants.
  • State of Georgia licensure as a PA is required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Fundamental Critical Care Support courses preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 3 years of IMS/Inpatient experience preferred
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Fundamental Critical Care Support courses preferred.
