About The Position

Physician follows standards of practice to provide direct quality care to patients. Assures that the patients need are met and provides open communication with patients, families, and other physicians. As a member of the PMG General Surgery group, physician provides elective general surgery support, inpatient care, consults, and surgical services to group patients. Practice Highlights: Week on/off schedule Remains on-call in order to respond to any general surgery needs Part of the Rust general surgery team Bread and Butter general surgery cases We offer more than the standard benefits! Responsibilities

  • Oversees and is accountable for the overall quality of care and clinical outcomes within the assigned facilities.
  • Treats patients, staff, and colleagues with respect at all times.
  • Participate in system-wide health management initiatives.
  • Provide real time feedback to PCPs regarding clinical and operational guidelines to optimize patient care and clinical efficiency.
  • Participate in the development, adoption, and implementation process for clinical standards for surgical care.
  • Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in-services, and workshops.
  • Performs other functions as required.
