About The Position

Inpatient Gastroenterology Hospitalist Opportunity in Fort Wayne, Indiana A well-established and respected healthcare group in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is actively recruiting a Board Eligible/Board Certified Inpatient Gastroenterology Hospitalist. Role Highlights: Flexible scheduling: Choose between 7-on/7-off or 14-on/14-off (26 weeks per year for full-time) Monday-Sunday rotation with night call averaged at 1 in 3 (inpatient nocturnist APP takes first call) Consult-only GI inpatient service with coverage at one hospital during the day and two hospitals at night Strong support team including 2 APPs and 2 RN physician extenders to optimize workflow and patient care Highly competitive compensation with earning potential up to $700,000 annually Team Overview: Includes outpatient general gastroenterology, interventional gastroenterology, inpatient GI hospitalists, IBD specialists, and GI advanced practice providers Team members bring years of specialized gastroenterology training and a collaborative approach to care Benefits Package: Competitive base salary with bonus potential Commencement bonus Student loan assistance Retirement contribution plan Medical, dental, vision & life insurance Short- and long-term disability Flexible spending accounts And a variety of additional non-traditional benefits Why Fort Wayne?
