About The Position
The Inpatient Counselor will be responsible for providing quality case management and psychotherapeutic services to patients and their families.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in a behavioral science or mental health related field required.
- Clinical and administrative experience in an inpatient and outpatient mental health setting preferred.
- Possess general knowledge of all areas of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment.
- Ability to relate well with treatment professionals
- Ability to mobilize and coordinate staff resources
- Skills in dealing courteously with the public and individuals within the organization and counseling centers
- Organizational skills
- Ability to keep information highly confidential
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Basic data entry skills preferred
- Time management skills
- CPR and CPI certification training provided upon hire.

- Serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team supporting the organization's treatment program and philosophy.
