About The Position

The Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor will perform psychosocial assessments on new admissions and provide case management services for assigned patients. The role involves facilitating group therapy and conducting individual and family counseling sessions. Additionally, the counselor will present lectures to patients and their family members, participate in a treatment team with other professional staff, and maintain appropriate documentation and reports. Effective communication with patients' families, referents, and other professionals is essential. The counselor is expected to maintain professional standards regarding practice, conduct, continuing education, appearance, and relationships with patients and other professionals.

Requirements

  • Licensed by the State of Ohio Chemical Dependency Board, or Counselor, Social Worker & Marriage & Family Therapist Board, or licensure eligible.
