About The Position
Southridge Behavioral Hospital is a beautiful and new state-of-the-art facility. As a joint venture with the Trinity Health System and Universal Health Services, we serve up to 96 adult and geriatric patients across four units. More information about Southridge can be found online at: https://southridgebh.com/ Position Description: The Inpatient Clinician/Clinical Social Worker provides psychiatric case-management and therapeutic services to patients with diverse needs. This includes coordination of care between hospital and community; treatment and discharge planning, and therapeutic services and education. Hours: This position operates day shift on the weekends to support newly admitted patients and group programming on the weekends. An ideal candidate would be able to commit to one weekend a month. Location: We are located on the south side of Grand Rapids, near the intersection of M-6 and Byron Center Ave SW: 6291 Venture Hills Boulevard SW, Byron Center, MI 49315
Requirements
- Masters Degree required.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
- Active MA Level License in the state of Michigan: LMSW, LLMSW, LLPC, LPC, LLP, TLLP
