About The Position

Methodist Hospital looking to hire a Clinical Pharmacist to join our Inpatient team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day. Position Summary: The Inpatient/Clinical Pharmacist will work independently under minimal supervision and work cooperatively with health system and pharmacy staff. The pharmacist will provide professional pharmaceutical services by verifying orders, dispensing medications and related supplies, monitoring patient medication therapies, providing drug information to healthcare providers, and overseeing the work of direct support personnel. The pharmacist should have the ability to set priorities in an environment with frequent interruptions and be able to adapt to changes in workload and work schedule. Pharmacist will be expected to be competent to support central pharmacy as well as neurology and medical/surgical decentral teams. Work Schedule: Day/evening/holiday rotation Every third weekend .8 FTE

Requirements

  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy
  • Current license to practice pharmacy in the State of Minnesota
  • Experience in a decentralized capacity or completion of a post-doctoral pharmacy program (e.g., residency or fellowship)) or board certification

Nice To Haves

  • Critical care or cardiology experience
  • Experience using Epic
