Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare of Mississippi is seeking a new Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our growing service line. This full-time inpatient role provides significant growth opportunities and occasional adult patient interaction. Brentwood Behavioral fosters a collegial, supportive, and caring work environment that promotes work/life balance and community engagement. Opportunities abound for professional and personal development among a diverse patient population, alongside other physicians, clinical staff, and administration. Children and adolescents may encounter mental health and behavioral challenges similar to adults. Brentwood offers inpatient care for those aged 5 to 17 facing emotional and behavioral issues. Care is delivered in a supportive, secure, and controlled setting where a compassionate team of mental health professionals can effectively treat young patients. Our inpatient facility features distinct child and adolescent sections, with dedicated staff and programs for age-appropriate care. Directed by a board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist, our multidisciplinary team includes therapists, social workers, nurses, case managers, activity/recreational therapists, and/or nutritionists. We craft individualized treatment plans by collaborating with families, schools, community agencies, and other service providers.
