About The Position
Under the direction of the Director of Workforce Innovation, the Innovative Specialist will provide professional technical expertise, guidance, and advice in extended reality, AI, and automated systems for delivering technical activities within the Innovation Labs at Hinds Community College. To support students from across the college by providing support for student learning, informal and formal training and instruction, and developing proficiency in extended reality, programming, AI, automated systems, application development, 360º video, motion capture, immersive entertainment, and relevant platforms, tools, and methodologies. The Innovative Specialist will be responsible for the oversight of the overall operation of the Innovation Labs/training and the development of policies, procedures, and programs for a variety of special interest groups.
