About The Position

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Innovation Program Leader to join the Legrand Team remotely. The Innovation Program Leader is a pivotal new role responsible for driving LNCA’s (Legrand North & Central America) enterprise-wide innovation agenda. As the operational architect of the Innovation Enablement Framework, this individual ensures disciplined execution, cross-functional alignment, and a continuous flow of insights and experimentation that fuel Legrand’s 2030 Ambition. This role is the connective tissue across divisions, the pulse-keeper of innovation, and a visible champion of high-visibility innovation efforts. Primary responsibility will be to program manage the delivery of key milestones in the innovation enablement road map creating an innovation eco-system that will enable organic growth in support of Legran’s growth ambition.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in innovation program management, transformation, R&D, or operations within a matrixed or global organization.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and translating strategy into execution.
  • Fluency in innovation and delivery methods (Agile, Design Thinking, Lean Startup, Phase-Gate, OKRs).
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills—able to synthesize complexity into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and influencing without formal authority.
  • Strong cultural awareness with the ability to sustain energy and alignment across functions.
  • Influence without authority while showcasing organizational dexterity.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the innovation system and lead LNCA’s enterprise innovation roadmap, maintaining milestone progress, transparency, and recurring reporting cadences with steering committees.
  • Codify and steward innovation standards (e.g., VOC protocols, experimentation templates, KPI dashboards).
  • Facilitate cross-business unit alignment, organization-wide communication, development and prioritization of innovation objectives & key results.
  • Identify, socialize, and scale successful practices using tools such as Kaizen, Design Thinking, and Lean Canvas.
  • Coach divisional Innovation Owners and business unit champions in experimentation, rapid iteration, and customer insight integration.
  • Partner with external innovation strategists on training, toolkit development, and capability-building.
  • Advance project kill switch discipline, enabling trade-offs, stopping low-impact work, and amplifying what works.
  • Curate and share learning stories and case studies that highlight experimentation outcomes and inspire culture change.
  • Ensure innovation teams are prepared, resourced, and unblocked for incubation cohorts.
  • Translate emergent learning from incubator projects into anticipated value to Divisional Presidents.
  • Partner with external strategic design and facilitation teams to evolve cohort design and maturity.
