Overview: The Innovation Productivity Manager will support the execution of strategic initiatives that enhance R&D efficiency and accelerate innovation. This role will focus on analyzing workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing process improvements through advanced technologies and data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with a passion for operational excellence and innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 6+ years of experience in process improvement, project management, and R&D operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations and cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and emerging technologies for process optimization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading and implementing AI solutions within R&D and/or MedTech
  • Familiarity with design control principles.
  • Understanding of surgical procedures, surgical device design, and the regulatory/quality system landscape.
  • Experience designing, developing, or launching products in an FDA-regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess current R&D processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the implementation of productivity-enhancing initiatives across product development and lifecycle maintenance.
  • Apply data analytics and AI tools to uncover insights and drive decision-making.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
  • Document and share best practices across teams to foster innovation and operational excellence.
  • Track performance metrics and report progress to leadership.
