About The Position

Bellingham High School is seeking three dedicated and visionary educators to serve as Innovation Pathways Co-Administrators. This stipend position involves leading the Innovation Pathways Program, which provides students with career-focused educational experiences aligned with high-demand industries. The Co-Administrators will coordinate program activities, oversee student engagement, foster industry partnerships, and ensure the program meets the district's goals for career readiness and post-graduation success. This role requires strong collaboration, project management, and communication skills.

Requirements

  • Current teacher or staff member at Bellingham High School with a background in career education, vocational studies, or related fields preferred.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, industry professionals, and students.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging stakeholders and preparing reports and presentations.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to improve program outcomes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate challenges and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve program goals.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement career-focused curricula that integrates industry standards, workplace skills, and real-world learning experiences.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, industry leaders, and community organizations to create valuable partnerships for student internships and mentorships.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and counselors to integrate the Innovation Pathways Program into the broader educational experience.
  • Support innovation pathways initiatives such as career fairs, networking events, and industry tours for students.
  • Assist in identifying and applying for grant opportunities that support the goals of the Innovation Pathways Program.
  • Follow all Bellingham School Committee policies and district guidelines in all aspects of the Innovation Pathways Program.
