About The Position
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join either our Helix or Absorbents team. This internship offers hands-on experience in product development and innovation within a dynamic and collaborative environment. Assist with product testing, including preparation, execution, and documentation of results. Support prototype development, working closely with engineers and scientists to create and refine new concepts. Contribute to method development, including designing and validating test procedures. Provide general project support, such as data analysis, report preparation, and maintaining lab organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely progress on assigned projects. By the end of the internship, you will: Gain hands-on experience in product development, testing, and prototyping. Learn industry-standard methods for material and product evaluation. Develop technical problem-solving skills and an understanding of experimental design. Enhance your ability to interpret data and communicate findings effectively. Build professional relationships and receive mentorship from experienced engineers and scientists. Explore potential career paths in R&D, product development, and manufacturing within a global organization.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Bioresources or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic laboratory skills and familiarity with safety protocols preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
