About The Position

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Planning Operations, the Innovation & Implementation Manager will be responsible for driving organizational improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for innovation, developing implementation frameworks, and overseeing projects that streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and support delivery of the agency’s Strategic Plan. This role will act as a bridge between high-level strategic goals and on-the-ground execution, ensuring that initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable impact. The Innovation & Implementation Manager will coordinate across departments, manage cross-functional teams, and embed best practices in project management and change management to ensure successful outcomes. This role is ideal for a results-oriented professional who thrives on building systems, implementing solutions, and guiding organizations through change while maintaining accountability and transparency.

Requirements

  • Business process analysis and documentation techniques, including SOPs and workflows.
  • Principles of innovative problem-solving methods and approaches (i.e. design thinking, user-centered design principles, etc.) to strategically improve agency impact.

  • Proficiency with project management tools and platforms and familiarity with process documentation software.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical or complex initiatives into clear, actionable guidance.
  • Ability to lead end-to-end project implementation, from concept design through adoption and evaluation.
  • Ability to align project outcomes with broader strategic goals and measure success against defined metrics.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, external changes, and internal organizational needs.
