University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) seeks adjunct faculty to teach on-site in Dorsey Station, MD for the Graduate Business Administration program. Specifically, we are seeking faculty for the course Innovation & Entrepreneurship (BMGT 620), which examines innovation and entrepreneurship in a business environment. The course focuses on applying principles of innovation and entrepreneurship to the creation, development, and management of new ventures. Discussion covers the principles of innovation, design thinking, opportunity recognition, funding, and scaling up of entrepreneurial ventures, as well as the challenges and opportunities for innovation in existing organizations. The goal is to think critically about innovation and gain practical experience in managing innovation in organizations and creating and developing new ventures.
