About The Position

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a highly motivated Innovation Engineer to lead and drive innovation across our production operations. This role is responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge solutions, standardizing manufacturing processes, leveraging data and technology, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The Innovation Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize plant operations, enhance product quality, and deliver operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Agricultural Technology, Operations Management, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Production, Manufacturing, Engineering, Process Improvement or Agriculture.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate, influence, and coordinate across cross-functional teams.
  • Technical excellence and high degree of ownership.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Working knowledge of process technology, manufacturing equipment, control systems, and production related software (Excel, Rockwell, SAP, etc.).
  • Understanding the importance of Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in innovative teams to enhance business processes and production effectiveness.
  • Identify and drive technological initiatives and automation to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Scope and implement projects in line with assigned areas of responsibilities
  • Use data-driven insights to recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process efficiency, quality, and reliability.
  • Help develop new dashboards and reporting tools to communicate performance trends and insights to stakeholders on new technology implementation
  • I dentify vendor partners and implement new technology within the business.
  • Coach and assist operations teams to optimize safety, product quality, throughput, and cost performance.
  • Collaborate with plant personnel and the capital execution team in the implementation of new technology to optimize operations.
  • Monitor process variables and recommend operational changes for improved performance.
  • Create and assist with the creation of business cases to justify capital expenditures and coordinate technical aspects of project start-up.
  • Travel to production sites to engage with teams and support troubleshooting efforts.
