About The Position
ECS is seeking to hire an Innovation Consultant to join us in supporting the Veterans Health Administration's (VHA) Office of Healthcare Innovation and Learning (OHIL). This position is based in Washington, DC, with an option for hybrid remote work. The role involves working on a portfolio of projects generated through grassroots crowdsourcing initiatives, leadership directives, industry roundtables, and partnerships. The ideal candidate will be an energetic professional capable of producing quality deliverables on tight deadlines, supporting fast-moving and wide-ranging program and initiative needs. As an Innovation Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining key client relationships with VHA OHIL staff, supporting client directors and managers with a high-level, cross-functional focus, and delivering high-quality, senior executive-level deliverables such as reports and briefings. You will also communicate the status and impact of projects to the broader community, proactively recognize opportunities for improvement, and initiate effective strategies to promote change. Additionally, you will escalate risks and concerns to project managers, ensuring that all aspects of the projects are managed effectively and efficiently.
