Requirements

• 4-year bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, engineering or science.
• MBA and Project management qualifications (i.e., PMP certification) would be a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in innovation, strategy, or a related field including start-up or strategic venture experience.
• Experience with Workfront, MS Project and research tools (i.e., Pitchbook) preferred.
• Proven track record of driving innovation in a corporate environment.
• Experience with forming recommendations for strategic business venture opportunities.
• Evidence of strong interpersonal skills, collaborating and effectively interacting with all levels of the organization.
• Adept at delivering actionable insights and recommendations to leadership, external partners, and clients.
• Strong evidence of successful leadership of cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and data evaluation skills.
• Demonstrated strong business acumen with property insurance and risk management, preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Partner with staff group and operations senior leaders to identify strategically prioritized business challenges and emerging opportunities for FM.
• Strive for Trusted Advisor level relationships at the VP and SVP level within assigned Staff Groups.
• Maintain a keen focus on delivery by incrementally investing and maturing ideas through investigation, PoC's, PoV's and to transition for build consideration.
• Optimize delivery by ensuring strong alignment with the project sponsor and dependent resources.
• Own and manage relationships within the ecosystem of startups and vendors to support solutioning for strategic business challenges.
• Become a source of external innovation ecosystem insight by identifying industry and technological signals and associated trends.
• Contribute to, and drive thought leadership dialog with the Innovation team.
• Have a team first mindset exhibited by proactively contributing to staff mentoring.
• Contribute ideas and influence decisioning specific to Innovation's strategic planning.
• Promote a culture of innovation collaboratively with the Innovation Consultant-Insights, Culture & Education.
