About The Position

Innovation and Engineering Technician You will focus primarily on design of mechanical hardware and components to support the development and maintenance of superconducting MRI magnet products and technologies. Your role: Will focus on solution creation through detailed design of mechanical hardware and components with consideration of performance, cost, manufacturability, and reliability. This includes completing detailed 3D models/drawings and ensuring requirements for functional performance are adequately captured. Develops new processes, methods, and ways of working while thoroughly documenting design inputs and outputs. This will include general design activities such as requirements management, materials and component selection. Assists and/or directs vendors to create prototypes, reviewing and ensuring adequacy of vendor qualification activities. Actively participates in multidisciplinary project teams through all phases of product development to ensure successful execution of innovative and best-in-class designs.​ You're the right fit if: You’ve acquired 2+ years of practical experience in an R&D environment, laboratory engineering or equivalent. Philips Transparency Details The pay range for this position in New Yok is $27/hr to $43/hr. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
