About The Position

An Inn Operations Manager helps support the Innkeeper with day-to-day functions. The job blends hospitality, leadership, and hands-on problem-solving along with administrative work.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in an Inn or within Guest Services in Hotel/Resort or similar leadership role in a luxury, Forbes 5-star, or equivalent establishment
  • Familiarity with property-management systems (PMS) Calm, confident communication
  • Ability to multitask under pressure
  • Strong organizational habits
  • Customer-service mindset
  • Leadership and coaching ability

Responsibilities

  • Guest experience oversight: Ensuring check-ins, check-outs, and guest interactions are smooth and welcoming.
  • Front desk supervision: Training and guiding front desk staff, handling escalated guest issues, and maintaining service standards.
  • Housekeeping coordination: Inspecting rooms and communicating with housekeeping teams.
  • Scheduling & staffing: Creating staff schedules, monitoring attendance, and supporting hiring or onboarding.
  • Inventory & supplies: Tracking linens, amenities, cleaning products, and ordering replacements when needed.
  • Financial tasks: Handling petty cash, distribution of gratuities to The Front desk staff.
