About The Position

Requirements

  • Two years of related administrative experience
  • Proven knowledge of adult correction facilities and divisional policies
  • Working knowledge of diagnostic, classification, and transfers of inmates
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Systems

Responsibilities

  • Schedule new admissions from local jails and manage transfers of offenders to and from divisional facilities.
  • Monitor bed capacity at diagnostic centers and throughout the division.
  • Communicate effectively with jail and division personnel regarding transfer criteria and scheduling.
  • Review jail backlog and prioritize offenders for transfer as beds become available.
  • Ensure all transfers are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
