It oversees program planning, implementation, and decision-making essential to achieving the agency’s mission across Division Programs, Regional Districts, and partner entities. Given the complex and often controversial nature of fish management, this role requires the ability to synthesize competing factors and effectively communicate and coordinate internally and externally to achieve balanced solutions for fish resources and societal objectives. Additionally, the position develops and manages program budgets and serves as a key policy liaison with state, federal, and local agencies, tribes, partners, and the public. Requirements

  • Six years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience; -OR- Three years of related experience AND a bachelor’s degree
