About The Position

SUMMARY Operates and controls ink jet printer to produce print jobs ensuring Cathedral Corporation provides quality services by completing all work orders on schedule and accurately while following all standard operating procedures. Will train the right candidate. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Maintain a clean and neat work area. Operate machine according to instructions and in a safe manner. For Each Work Order: - Complete work orders in descending order by region. - Examine work order to determine processing requirements and specifications, ensuring data matches jacket. - Make sure print is straight and in proper position. - Inspect for defects and loss or smearing of print. Remove defects. - Sign completed work order with employee number, start and stop time, date, etc. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one with other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
