About The Position

Color matches and re-matches
Manufacture ink batches for print jobs
Press side technical assistance
Maintain customer ink inventory
File and maintain ink usage reports
Attend production meetings and other customer meetings as required
Other technical issues needed by customer: Ink training, ink improvements,
cost reductions, etc.
Additional quality control and reporting functions as requested
Maintain customer color on press during production runs
Work with internal and external customers through the pre-flight and customer
approval process

Requirements

• Goal oriented
• Good communication skills
• Good math skills
• Desire to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in a skilled trade where you will support an internal customer
• Manual and administrative duties are a requirement of the job. 60 percent manual and 40 percent administrative and lab work.
• Able to lift 40-50 lbs. on a regular basis. Ability to push 450 lb. drums on dollies. Ability to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods of time.
• At least two years’ experience with flexographic printing inks preferred
• Knowledge of and previous experience with ink color matching and press side trouble shooting is preferred
• Experience in pre-printed liner applications is highly desirable
• PIT experience is a plus
