About The Position

Safely perform the job responsibilities of the Ink Technician position to supply products and services which support the success of the Customer, while maintaining adherence to the Flint Group Corporate policies and values to achieve the performance objectives of the location.

Responsibilities

• Achieve a zero-work place injury and incident record by maintaining a clean and organized work place using Lean manufacturing and 5 s techniques. Comply with all Flint Group and customer Safety requirements including your attendance in monthly safety training and the wearing of personal protection equipment.
• Use of ADP Time Clock process to maintain accurate record of time worked at the GTC.
• Weigh, blend, QC, and deliver in a productive, efficient, and safe manner press-ready inks to meet the demands of the customer’s production schedule.
• Follow appropriate quality control and inspection process to include Color control with X Rite equipment.
• Prepare and maintain accurate manufacturing and quality control records to meet production dates per customer’s schedule, ink adjustments at press, press downtime documents, root cause and corrective actions.
• Assist with job scheduling and ink estimations for jobs going to press.
• Assist with maintaining the work off ink process by regulating use and storage.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of all Flint Group products to support the customer demand while in alignment with Flint Group inventory control methods, Days on Hand inventory and product lead times. Work off excess products to meet targets
• Make sure that the office, equipment and floors are cleaned and properly maintained up to the standards the supervisor has put into place.
• Perform other related responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
