Ink Services (3rd Shift)

About the position

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide assistance and support to the production team during makeready. Makeready team members will be involved in equipment preparation, plate mounting, ink mixing, and makeready activities in the production areas of the WI facilities. The purpose of this team is to provide assistance, supplies and services to all production equipment (MP, etc.) in order to reduce makeready and increase manufacturing efficiencies. Team member must work in a team environment with minimum supervision, cooperate and work with others, share information and take the initiative to improve the makeready process and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and support to the production team during makeready.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of installation and repair of complex equipment and machinery.
• Ability to examine and troubleshoot to determine the extent of repairs required.
• Ability to interpret and apply requirements from technical manuals and blueprints.
• General knowledge of setting up and operating machine tools such as lathes and milling machines.
